SAFETY

               "Zero Accident Tolerance"

M.J. Scully and Company has an overall corporate philosophy that serves as a guide to its safety program. M.J. Scully maintains a “zero accident tolerance” policy, which operates on the premise that all accidents are preventable and that a corporate safety program will be employed that will engage at all levels of activity to achieve that desired outcome.

We view the safety of our personnel, fellow tradesman and the affected public as a core value of our business
charter. With that in mind, M.J. Scully has and will continue to commit the resources and time necessary to assure successful performance of this core value which is reflected in our EMR which is consistently <1.00.

As part of routine construction activity, safety related hazards are generated as consequential issues. In order to adequately address these hazards, M.J. Scully has a safety program that readily identifies, rapidly evaluates and expediently determines the appropriate corrective actions to either eliminate or mitigate the hazard.

As part of that commitment the following are a few measures that we take in addition to our corporate safety program:

    •  Company Safety Meetings

    •  Registered with Highwire (Formerly ConstructSecure) and  ISNetworld
    •  10-HR & 30-HR OSHA

    •  Competent Person Training

    •  Confined Space Entry Training
    •  40-HR HAZWOPER Training with 8-HR Refresher Courses

    •  Site Specific Safety Plans (SSSP) with Associated JHA's

    •  Weekly Toolbox Meetings Specific to our Scope of Work
